pdf - Portable Document Format
png - Portable Network Graphics graphic format good for drawings

svg - vector graphic format (scalable vector format)
txt - plain ascii text, best most usuable format for text
rtf - if you need to give me fancy text bold underline etc use either html or rtf avoid doc and docx
ods - spreadsheet format of open office (we may use this)
